Never, ever, ever rinse cooked ground beef. I’ve seen you mention that before and I must say in my 70+ years I’ve never seen or heard of that. When cooking ground beef, it is common to season it, add onion or garlic to develop a flavor profile fitting with what your end product is. Then rinsing it does away with the flavor you’ve developed, and you are left with totally bland ground beef. Straining it is sufficient.
