Rose World (Vodka and Cranberry) Cocktail

Rose World (Vodka and Cranberry) Cocktail

I am always looking for a new fun cocktail.

That is why we are trying to create more of our own these days.

This Rose World cocktail is a vodka and cranberry cocktail.

Lately, I have been really into floral flavors such as lavender.

So trying out rose water in a cocktail just seemed like a natural evolution.

This drink is quite a versatile cocktail.

Since it is so beautiful and floral, you could serve it at a Holiday party or a bridesmaid party.

It isn’t seasonal either, which is nice.

So you could serve it during the heat of summer as a refreshing drink, or you could do it in the winter when people are seeking that cranberry flavor.

What is rose water?

Rosewater is distilled water infused with the essence of rose petals.

To create rose water, you can step water with rose petals in hot water.

The water will absorb the fragrance of the rose petals.

Once the water is cool, just sift or strain out the rose petals and place the infused water in a glass container.

You can also buy pre-made rose water online or at a liquor store.

Remember that rose water tends to be strong in aroma and flavor, so a bit of bit often goes a long way in a cocktail.

Note: If you decide to make your rose water, be sure to use food-grade rose petals.

About simple syrup

Simple syrup is nothing but a cooked-down mixture of sugar and water.

You can learn how to make simple syrup here.

This one means that you can make your simple syrup at home or buy pre-made simple syrup.

My first instinct is always, oh, why buy it when I can just make it myself later.

The problem with that is, Friday night comes, and I want a fun cocktail, but I don’t have any simple syrup.

I feel tired.

I don’t make any.

No fun cocktail.

So my advice is to keep a bottle of simple syrup on hand.

Make an alcohol-free version

If you want to make a booze-free version of this, you need to replace the vodka.

You could substitute vodka with white grape juice and one part lime juice.

Some folks even substitute one part apple cider vinegar and one part water.

You can also buy alcohol-free spirits now, and while I haven’t tried these yet, I am anxious to do so.

The reviews on this are outstanding.

I know that I will be trying it out some Monday night soo
