Pepsi vs Coke: Insider Reveals Potential Changes to Costco’s Food Court Soda in 2025

Coke or Pepsi? You decide.

Costco shoppers may soon notice a change at their favorite food court, if the rumor proves true. According to an Instagram post from Costco Insider on December 17, 2024, the retailer is rumored to switch back to Coca-Cola products in early 2025.

“After over a decade, Costco is switching back from Pepsi to Coke products in their stores,” the post said. This would mean the return of Coke, Coke Zero, Diet Coke, and Sprite.

Matt West, editor of Costco Insider, informed Fox News Digital that his publication had received the information from “multiple sources.”

As mentioned in the post, Costco made the switch from Coca-Cola to Pepsi in 2013 “as a cost-saving measure to keep their famous $1.50 hot dog and soda combo.”

Many customers expressed their excitement about the potential return of Coca-Cola products.

“Coke! Woohoo!” and “Thank you Lord!🙌” commented users.

One user shared, “Coke over Pepsi for me. Although, I rarely drink soda, I will with a Costco hot dog. I would love to see Pibb as part of their Coke line-up.”

On the other hand, some Pepsi fans voiced their disappointment.

One user commented, “Pepsi. Guess if they change I will give up membership 😡”

“Pepsi is WAY better than coke. I buy Pepsi with real sugar, coke doesn’t have it. No high fructose syrup for me!!!” another commented.
