This Surprising Program Brings Big Perks and Health Alternatives to Millions of Veterans Nationwide

The initiative is a way to support veterans and say “Thank You.”

Every brand has a different way of saying “thank you” to the veterans who served the country. Some offer free coffee, free meals, discounts, and more. But cannabis beverage producer, HighBridge Premium, has a different take on appreciation through the launch of the American Legion Initiative.

With the American Legion Initiative, over 12,000 Legion Posts and more than 2 million members can access benefits and incentives. These include alcohol-free alternatives in social settings, along with information, education, and options beyond traditional medical treatments or over-the-counter remedies.

According to the company, the initiative is “an opportunity to embrace the veteran community, express our gratitude for their service, and offer a collective ‘Thank You.'”

One key partner in the program is the nonprofit Realm of Caring (RoC), which offers veterans free services to address specific challenges, such as pain management, PTSD, and chronic conditions.

These services also include confidential assistance, research, and alternative therapies to improve veterans’ quality of life. “When HighBridge asked us to participate in this program, RoC immediately jumped on board,” said Sasha Kalcheff-Korn, Executive Director of RoC.

The American Legion Initiative started in September at Post #270 in Buffalo, Minnesota, with a tasting of HighBridge’s faux™ beer products. The American Legion Post is planning another event featuring HighBridge’s Effervescent Botanical Seltzers™ and Majical Ice TeaZ™ from HighBridge-Belushi’s Farm.
