Kristen Kish will inspire aspiring chefs, and it could be you.

If you’ve ever dreamed of learning from one of the most renowned chefs in the culinary world, now’s your chance. Kristen Kish, Top Chef winner and current host, has joined Escoffier School of Culinary Arts as its new chef-in-residence.

That’s right—aspiring chefs can now learn from the very chef who won the 10th season of Top Chef. As chef-in-residence, Kish said she will “work on student-focused projects,” including special lectures, digital content, and mentorship programs.

Kish shared her excitement in an Instagram post, expressing how “thrilled” she is to guide the next generation of culinary talent. She added, “Culinary journeys are never solo — they’re built on community and collaboration.”

In the comments, fans are also excited and eager, with one saying, “This is such exciting news! I have admired you ever since your first appearance on Top Chef!” Another fan shares, “Would love to attend one of your sessions!” Many others proudly mention their connection to Escoffier, with one commenting, “So proud to be @escoffierschools alum!!”

Kristen Kish is the chef and partner of Arlo Grey in Austin, Texas, author of her upcoming memoir Accidentally On Purpose (releasing April 2025), host of Bravo’s Emmy-winning Top Chef, and host/producer of Restaurants at the End of the World on National Geographic/Disney+. She is also the creator of KISH Aperitif, a line of craft aperitifs.
