Detroit-style pizza made easy.
Cozy pizza nights just got a whole lot better, thanks to Rustica’s newest frozen pizza additions. The brand is bringing the taste of Detroit straight to your freezer with its latest Detroit-Style Pan Pizzas, described as offering “a unique and delightful taste experience.”
The new additions to the brand’s frozen pizza lineup are now available at select grocery stores in Canada, and each box includes a rectangular pizza pan to help consumers recreate the Detroit-style crust at home.
“Unlike the thick, dense doughs of Chicago-style deep-dish pizzas, Detroit-Style Pan Pizzas feature a light and airy dough similar to focaccia or Sicilian-style dough. This creates a perfect balance of a chewy, yet crispy crust,” says in a press release.

The lineup includes Double Pepperoni, with layers of pepperoni, tomato sauce, and a blend of cheeses. For cheese fans, the 4 Cheese & Garlic pizza combines mozzarella, cheddar, Asiago, and Parmesan, topped with garlic sauce.
The Meat Lovers pizza has pepperoni, Italian sausage, ham, and bacon. Meanwhile, the Deluxe offers a mix of pepperoni, Italian sausage, green and red peppers, onions, and tomato sauce over cheese.
Alongside its Detroit-Style Pan Pizzas, the Rustica brand now offers a wider selection, with options to cater to every taste. Consumers can choose from existing varieties, including Stuffed Crust, Rising Crust, Pizzeria Style, and Singles pizzas.
How to prepare Rustica’s Detroit Style Pan Pizza Double Pepperoni
The brand shares five easy steps to prepare one of its Detroit-Style Pan Pizzas. Here’s how:
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Remove the pizza from the box and plastic.
- Place the frozen pizza in the oven-safe pan on the center of the bottom rack.
- Bake for 21-23 minutes, until the cheese melts and the crust is golden.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
Rustica tip: The brand recommends cooking in a conventional oven only. Keep the pizza frozen until baking and cook it to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) for safety and quality.
