Starbucks fans and Ozians can enjoy new ‘Wicked’-themed drinks as Starbucks teams up with Universal Pictures to celebrate the upcoming movie, Wicked.

Universal Pictures’ Wicked flies into cinemas on November 22nd after two years of production, but there’s more magic in store aside from one of the biggest musicals of all time.

Starbucks has brewed up something special with its two limited-time Wicked-inspired drinks that celebrate the magic of Wicked. Inspired by Oz’s beloved characters, Glinda and Elphaba, the coffee giant is releasing these exclusive beverages beginning October 22 for people in the United States, Canada, and other select international locations.

Natalia Vasquez, a Starbucks beverage developer, said Glinda’s Pink Potion was “inspired by Glinda’s bright character and of course her iconic association with all things pink.” The pink drink features a Mango Dragonfruit Starbucks Refreshers® Beverage shaken with creamy coconut milk, ice, and freeze-dried dragonfruit. It is then finished with nondairy strawberry cold foam and colorful candy sprinkles.

Elphaba’s Cold Brew

Elphaba’s Cold Brew is inspired by the Wicked Witch of the West’s bold energy and green skin. The cold brew “gets an unexpected twist of peppermint topped with a nondairy matcha cold foam for a touch of Elphaba’s famous green, finished with colorful candy sprinkles,” said Rosalyn Batingan, Starbucks beverage developer.

In addition to the new beverages, customers can purchase Wicked-inspired Starbucks Cards starting October 22. Beginning November 7, selected Starbucks locations will offer exclusive Wicked-themed drinkware, including tumblers and cold cups in vibrant shades of green, pink, and gold, also available for a limited time.

Wicked,” starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, is set to hit theaters on November 22, 2024, while Wicked Part Two is scheduled for release in U.S. theaters on November 21, 2025.
