Survey Reveals Frozen and Dairy Foods Are Helping Americans Achieve Health, Budget, and Convenience Goals

Here’s why.

Millions of Americans are starting their New Year’s resolutions, and new research shows frozen and dairy foods are helping them meet health, budget, and convenience goals.

A survey commissioned by the National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Association (NFRA) found that 66% of Americans say pre-portioned ingredients help with health goals, while 75% choose frozen and dairy foods to save money.

“New Year’s resolutions can be tough to maintain, especially when juggling busy schedules and tight budgets,” said Tricia Greyshock of NFRA

Frozen and dairy foods also help families manage food costs and reduce waste. The survey shows that 78% of shoppers buy in bulk budget management while reducing waste, and 68% use frozen foods to make mornings easier. Meanwhile, 77% of parents use pre-portioned ingredients for health goals.

The survey also revealed that younger consumers use frozen foods to try new flavors, with 76% choosing them and 88% preferring meals that take 45 minutes or less to prepare.

The findings are part of NFRA’s ReDiscover Dairy & Frozen campaign, which “encourages consumers to revisit the frozen and refrigerated aisles.” The campaign also includes a $10,000 Sweepstakes, where shoppers can win and explore new frozen and dairy foods.
