He’s a real-life Aquaman.
Actor, environmental advocate, and water brand founder Jason Momoa has long been known for pushing boundaries—and now, he’s making significant strides in the water industry with a bold shift in his company, Mananalu.
The Hawaiian-born star, celebrated for his roles in Aquaman and Game of Thrones, has teamed up with Boomerang Water to transform the way water is bottled and consumed.

In late January, Momoa unveiled the relaunch of his brand, now called Mananalu Powered By Boomerang Water, which abandons single-use plastic bottles in favor of a sustainable, circular bottling system.

The technology sources water from local supplies, purifies it on-site, and bottles it in reusable aluminum or glass containers. After use, the bottles are returned to the machine for reuse, “making it fully sustainable.”
“This technology is a game changer, and I am honored to be able to bring it to Hawaii first, under Mananalu, to help restore the local Ecosystem,” according to the 45-year-old actor.
The relaunch has already caught attention in the state, with the company teaming up with hotels and businesses like Twin Fin Hotel, Romer House Waikiki, and Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach.
These partners will be the first to implement the sustainable bottling technology and the brand plans its growth with “an eye on new global markets.”
