For the 2025 holiday season, Challenge Butter is turning cookie baking into a force for good. The beloved dairy brand has partnered with the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation to launch the Holiday Cookies Fund the Cure initiative—a delicious way to support children and families affected by cancer.
The campaign centers on a Holiday Cookie Recipe Contest that invites home bakers across the country to share their best creations. Every recipe submitted triggers a donation to NPCF, and one lucky grand prize winner will receive a gift package featuring goodies from Chronicle Books, Melissa’s Produce, Sur La Table, Wilton Bakeware, and a year’s supply of Challenge Butter.

The timing couldn’t be more meaningful. Cancer remains the leading cause of death by disease among children in the U.S., with over 40 kids diagnosed daily. NPCF works to improve treatments and outcomes through clinical trials and innovative therapies designed specifically for young patients.

To sweeten the deal, Challenge has created a Holiday Cookie Collection—festive recipes featuring the brand’s new Challenge Butter Cubes, convenient individually wrapped portions that make holiday baking simpler and more precise.
