For those who swapped cocktails for sparkling water or herbal tea, staying booze-free during Dry January can be a challenge. Fortunately, Halo Top is giving you a sweet pass with a new line of ice cream kits.
The ice cream brand recently introduced its limited-edition Swap Kits, which “rebranded” four of its signature flavors to match the tastes of classic cocktails.
The Halo Top Strawberry now mirrors the flavor profile of Pinot Noir, while Chocolate Caramel Brownie evokes the rich taste of an Old Fashioned. Sea Salt Caramel brings the essence of a Reposado Margarita, and Cookies & Cream captures the flavor of a Creamy Espresso Martini.
Halo Top claimed that they collaborated with a sommelier and alcohol flavor expert to create the perfect flavor swaps. “Halo Top has always been about carefree indulgence, encouraging our fans to live life to the fullest” said Ryan Roznowski, spokesperson for the brand.
Each kit includes two custom bowls—wine glasses for Pinot Noir, whiskey glasses for Old Fashioned, margarita glasses for Reposado Margarita, and martini glasses for Espresso Martini. It also comes with gold spoons.
Halo Top’s limited-edition Swap Kits are available for $3.60 each at HaloTopDryJanuary.com. Due to limited quantities, the brand encourages a limit of 1 kit per person.
