Some organizations are all about good food, but a nonprofit based in Fort Worth takes it a step further by making sure the people behind the food are supported, too.
Fort Worth Food + Wine Foundation is on a mission to provide resources and opportunities for culinary and hospitality professionals in the city.

Over the years, the foundation has invested over $437,000 in scholarships, grants, and equipment to support aspiring chefs and hospitality professionals. It also organizes an annual festival, which raises funds for scholarships and emergency grants for industry workers.
As it approaches its 11th anniversary in 2025, the nonprofit is asking the community to help grow its impact. “Your ongoing support is crucial to our mission,” said the Fort Worth Food + Wine Foundation in an email.
Fort Worth Food + Wine Foundation encourages the public to get involved by making a donation to support scholarships and grants, becoming a Connoisseur for VIP access and exclusive perks, volunteering at events, or attending festivals to raise funds and awareness.
“Together, we will continue to elevate the Fort Worth culinary scene and create meaningful change for the individuals who shape it,” the nonprofit added.
