This creamy apple pie dip is apple pie flavor that comes together with a little planning to soften the cream cheese and about 10 minutes of actual mixing. Cream cheese and brown sugar beaten until fluffy, whipped topping that takes it to another level, and folded through with apple pie filling. A dusting of cinnamon makes this one dessert-table ready.
No oven needed—the mixer and the fridge do most of the work. Set it out with graham crackers and watch it beat every cookie tray in the room to the bottom of the dish.

How to Make Creamy Apple Pie Dip

Step 1: Beat the cream cheese and brown sugar
Beat the softened cream cheese and brown sugar with an electric mixer until completely smooth. Cold cream cheese leaves lumps that never beat out.

Step 2: Beat in the whipped topping
Add the whipped topping and beat on low just until combined. Or use a spatula to fold it all together. We want to keep the airy texture.

Step 3: Chop and fold in the apple pie filling
Chop the apples in the pie filling into small pieces, then fold them in gently with a spatula. We want to the apples distributed so it’s a dip with equal opportunity.

Step 4: Chill or eat right away
Eat right away or move to the fridge for a chill. Transfer the dip into a serving dish, dust the top with cinnamon, and serve with graham crackers, cookies, or fruit. That 30 minutes in the fridge allows the flavors to blend nicely and it sets up a bit. (If you can wait that long.)
Tools and Equipment
- Large mixing bowl
- Electric mixer
- Silicone spatula
- Cutting board and knife
- Measuring cups and spoons
- Serving dish
Tips for Success
- You’ll want the cream cheese to be very soft. At least 30 to 45 minutes on the counter.
- Beat in the whipped topping on low, or fold it in with a spatula, since we want to keep that airy, creamy texture.
- Chop the big chunks of apple into much smaller pieces so that it gets distributed and every dipper gets some apple flavor.
- Try these dippers: graham crackers, cinnamon sugar pita chips, vanilla wafers, pretzels, and apple slices.
- Make it a day ahead. It keeps covered in the fridge for 3 days and actually tastes better after a night of chilling.
- It’s not great after thawing from frozen, so I wouldn’t recommend it.
- Turn leftovers into breakfast: spread it on a toasted bagel or layer it into an icebox cake.

The bottom line
This no-bake apple pie dip has all the flavor of a creamy apple pie but no fallen crust or hour of bake time. Five ingredients, no oven, 10 minutes and you end up with a sweet fall party dip that disappears at tailgates, potlucks, and the Thanksgiving grazing table. Keep a can of apple pie filling and a block of cream cheese around (and maybe some graham crackers to dip) and dessert isn’t far off.
