Tips for Great Cheddar Biscuits

These bacon ranch biscuits are simple, but here are a few thoughts to help you along the way:

  • I prefer to use unsalted butter in this recipe to control the saltiness, as the ranch seasoning and bacon provide plenty of flavor. If you only have salted butter, you can still use it, but the biscuits will be saltier. (Like me, some days.)
  • This recipe is specifically designed for frozen Grands Biscuits. I don’t know if this recipe would work with refrigerator biscuits, but if you want to try it, reduce the baking time under foil to 15 mins.

Tools & Equipment

  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Small bowl or plate
  • Cutting board and knife
  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • 9×12-inch baking dish
  • Aluminum foil
