Preheat your oven to 375°F. Prepare a 9x13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Arrange the frozen biscuits in the prepared dish in four rows of three.
Pour half of the melted butter evenly over the biscuits.
Set aside 1/3 c of shredded cheese. Sprinkle the remaining 1-2/3 c of cheese over the biscuits in the baking dish.
Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix over the layer of cheese.
Pour the remaining half of the melted butter all over the cheese and ranch seasoning.
Spread the crumbled bacon evenly over the biscuits, then sprinkle the reserved 1/3 c of cheese on top.
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for another 5 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
Top with the chopped green onion before serving. Serve the biscuits warm.
