Strawberry Smoothie Recipe (Without Bananas!)

Strawberry Smoothie Recipe (Without Bananas!)

Not all smoothies need to be jammed with a ton of ingredients.

Now, while this strawberry smoothie recipe is straightforward to make, it’s utterly delicious even without bananas.

If you’re in a hurry but still want a smoothie for breakfast, this is a perfect recipe.

You can make this smoothie in just 4 minutes, flat.

Frozen strawberries – When it comes to strawberries, I prefer them frozen because the smoothie comes out a bit icy and cold.

But if you have fresh strawberries, that’s not a problem at all. In that case, I recommend that you add in 1/4 cup of ice.
The ice helps with the texture and make the smoothie cold.

For some reason, if my smoothies aren’t a bit icy, they don’t fill me up as well.

Feel free to experiment with this option though.

Oat milk – In the past, I mostly used almond milk and that works great in this recipe.

However, I recently switched to using oat milk and I’m loving the way that it mixes in these smoothie recipes.
If you only have cow’s milk on hand, that will also work fine.

Vanilla yogurt – I prefer vanilla Greek yogurt for this recipe, but I’d often use whatever yogurt I have on hand.

Almond butter – If you don’t have any almond butter, consider using plain peanut butter.

A tablespoon of this in the recipe really does add to the flavor and it helps fill you up too.
