There’s no worse feeling than getting caught up in a game and suddenly craving a slice of pizza. You don’t want to stop playing, especially when you’re facing the final boss. Luckily, Pizza Hut has made this easier with its new pizza warmer that attaches to the PlayStation 5 console.
Yes, you read that right. Pizza Hut Canada has created a pizza warmer called PIZZAWRMR, a 3D-printed box that sits on top of the PS5 and uses the console’s back ventilation to “keep your pizza warm while you play.”
“Upgrade your console with the hottest pizza warming technology. Using the warmth from your gaming system to keep your slices warm while you play,” the company shared on its website.
This “hottest console upgrade” looks like a Pizza Hut box, with the red roof carved onto the top and the logo on the front. According to PIZZAWRMR’s user guide, the warmer is compatible only with the PS5 Slim Console.
How does PIZZAWRMR work?
The accessory is made with a 3D printer and PLA (Polylactic Acid) material, so a 3D printer is needed to make it. After printing and assembly, it attaches to the back vent of the PS5 Slim console.
Once assembled, the warmer rests on the rear ventilation of the console. The user guide says to place a foil tray inside the warmer, not pizza directly on the plastic.
To use the warmer, turn on the console, put your pizza slices in the tray, and close the lid. The warmer can hold at least six slices, according to the YouTube ad. Pizza Hut suggests using medium-sized pizza slices.
