How To Make Oven Baked S’mores
You only need a handful of ingredients to get you to smores heaven!

Step 1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Parchment comes in different heat tolerances, but most will usually go to 450F. If the package doesn’t say, use foil instead.
Step 2. Break the crackers so you have 18 squares as shown. Lay out 9 of the bottoms and set the “tops” aside.

Step 3. Add 2 marshmallows on each graham cracker square on the baking sheet.

Step 4. Set the oven to broil and place the baking sheet in the oven to toast the marshmallows under the broiler for 30 to 90 seconds, until golden brown. Watch them very closely and do not walk away from the oven — they burn fast, so check every 10 to 15 seconds.

Step 5. Stay nearby so you can watch for the marshmallow tops to turn golden brown. It happens fast under the broiler. Unwrap and top each set of marshmallows with a chocolate bar, about the same length as the cracker.

Step 6. Turn the oven off. Slide the pan back into the oven with the open-face smores for about 45-60 seconds, and the chocolate bars will melt slightly, but still hold their shape.

Step 7. With hot pads, take out the baking sheet and immediately add the graham cracker tops that you set aside earlier. Gently press each down on top of the chocolate.

Step 8. Serve the s’mores immediately, or let them cool completely before serving.

Tips
- Don’t get distracted. Because the marshmallows toast very fast, don’t walk away from the oven while the marshmallows are under the broiler or they could burn.
- The s’mores can be stored in a zip-lock bag or food storage container with a lid and kept at room temperature for up to 5 days.
- To reheat leftover s’mores, heat on high on a microwave-safe plate for about 10 seconds for one s’more.
- I like to use 2 regular sized marshmallows per s’more sandwich, but one will work or even 4 could possibly fit on the graham cracker.

- Serve the s’mores immediately or cool completely before serving.
