Jennie-O and The Tonight Show Spread Thanksgiving Joy with Thousands of Turkeys and Hams

Hats off to TTSSJF and the Jennie-O brand!

American audiences might know The Tonight Show best for its late-night comedy, celebrity interviews, and host Jimmy Fallon’s signature charm. But this Thanksgiving, the late-night show became part of something much more impactful.

Fallon and his Tonight Show team partnered with Jennie-O to spread holiday cheer by donating thousands of turkeys and hams. “We’re doubling down on the ‘giving’ part,” Fallon said on the show.

According to Hormel Foods Corporation, the makers of JENNIE-O® turkeys, nine semi-trucks of 15,000 turkeys were sent from Minnesota to the Food Bank For New York City, an organization that works to ensure food security for all New Yorkers.

In addition to the turkeys, the food bank also received 1,000 hams, which aim to “ensure that meals reach those in need during the holiday season.”

But the generosity doesn’t stop there. Jennie-O is also donating an additional 15,000 turkeys throughout the holiday season, many of which will go to families in Minnesota through a partnership with the Minnesota Wild.

Fallon reminded fans that the Jennie-O turkey hotline is available. “If you’re looking for any tips this Thanksgiving. Be sure to call 1-800-TURKEYS,” the television host shared.
