It is easy to reheat corned beef because it gets more tender the longer it is cooked. I re-heated mine in the pressure cooker (same as an instant pot but without its own heat source) and in 3 minutes on high it was perfect. I used the same liquid that I cooked it in initially so it worked out well. I am sure your method is good too. But the pressure cooker works well.
