You already know what’s number one.
Texans are relying on delivery more than ever, turning to Favor Delivery for everything from brisket to burritos. Favor’s “How Texas Orders in 2024” report reveals the state’s most-delivered food items, with numbers as big as Texas itself.
Tacos are the top delivery choice, with one taco delivered every 19.94 seconds. Burgers and fries follow closely, with a burger delivered every 22.15 seconds and fries every 28.87 seconds. These “big three” dishes dominate meal orders across the state.
Texans love their dips as much as their meals. The Texas-based delivery app reported that enough queso was delivered to fill 28,715 cowboy hats, salsa could fill 14,496 hats, and guacamole could fill 7,263 hats.
On the beverage side, Dr Pepper leads the pack with 528,075 cans delivered, followed by coffee with 50,032 pots and iced tea with 50,006 pitchers.
Beyond these staples, the numbers tell a larger story. Over 1 million chicken wings were delivered along with more than 100,000 pounds of brisket and nearly 1 million orders of fries. Texans also ordered 280,000+ orders of spicy ketchup, 300,000+ pizzas, and 260,000+ burritos.
