Darigold Partners with Meijer to Expand FIT Milk Line into Hundreds of Midwest Stores

The partnership expands access to the Fit Milk line for more consumers in the Midwest.

Darigold has teamed up with Meijer to expand its FIT Milk line into more than 265 retail locations across the Midwest.

The Seattle-based dairy producer announced that Darigold’s FIT Milk line will be available in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, and Wisconsin, including Darigold FIT Whole Milk, 2%, and Chocolate.

The partnership aims to make high-quality dairy products more accessible by using Darigold’s advanced ultra-pasteurization and ultra-filtration technology. Dan Hofmeister, President of Darigold’s Business-to-Consumer division, said, “We are excited to partner with Meijer to bring the Darigold brand to dairy lovers across the Midwest.”

The Seattle-based dairy giant is expanding its reach by adding products to major retailers like Costco and Whole Foods. It is also entering the New York metropolitan market through a partnership with a beverage distributor and selling products on Amazon to grow its national presence.

About FIT Milk

Darigold claims that its FIT Milk line ‘boasts more protein’ and ‘40% less sugar than conventional milk.’ The FIT Milk is lactose-free and made from milk sourced from cows not treated with added hormones like rBGH or rBST.

“FIT Milk is ultra-pasteurized, giving it an extended shelf life and making it ideal for distribution beyond the company’s traditional Northwestern footprint,” the company stated in a press release.
