This could be the easiest 3 ingredient pumpkin bread you’ll find all season. The pureed pumpkin provides the moisture eggs and oil normally would, so this becomes a homemade pumpkin bread you can whip up in no time. You don’t even need a mixer— just a wooden spoon and a little elbow grease. You can swap the chopped pecans for walnuts, sliced almonds or pumpkin seeds, too.

How to Make This 3 Ingredient Pumpkin Bread
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 F for this pumpkin loaf bread and grease or spray a 9×5 loaf pan. Set aside.

Step 2: Stir the DRY 13.25 oz box of spice cake mix and the 15 oz can of pure pumpkin together until combined.

Step 3: Fold in the 1 cup of chopped pecans (or whatever mix-in you prefer for crunch), reserving some to garnish the top.

Step 4: Spoon the thick mixture into the prepared loaf pan and spread out so it’s mostly even and flat.

Step 5: Sprinkle the chopped pecans (or other mix-ins you’ve chosen) over the top.

Step 6: Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Use a butter knife or toothpick to check the center for doneness. It should come out clean. If you’re using a bigger loaf pan, you’ll reduce the bake time and check up to 10 mins sooner; for a smaller pan, increase the bake time in 5-minute increments.
