It’s more than just a drink; it’s a way to give back.
Rock legend Alice Cooper has made an impact across generations. His music — from “School’s Out” to “Poison” — has made him a key figure in rock history. And just as lasting as his music is his ability to surprise and innovate.
This January, Cooper is teaming up with WhistlePig Whiskey for a limited-edition non-alcoholic drink, the Sex, Drugs, Rock & Dry Old Fashioned. It is designed to provide a new take on the classic Old Fashioned, but without the alcohol.
“This rye non-whiskey is a rock anthem in a glass, opening with a headlining act of summer berries, wild herbs, and flinty black pepper to amp up your senses,” WhistlePig Whiskey described the drink.
The whiskey maker claimed that the new beverage is made with 100% Rye Non-Whiskey, barrel-aged maple syrup, and ingredients like Cordyceps and Schisandra Berry.
Cooper shared his thoughts on the drink: “I’ve been shocking audiences for years…But now these maniacs at WhistlePig have gone and SHOCKED ME with a non-alcoholic cocktail,” the rock legend said.
The release also supports a cause, with the brand donating 100% of the proceeds from the Sex, Drugs, Rock & Dry Old Fashioned to Giving Kitchen, a nonprofit that assists food service workers in need.
The new drink costs $49.99 per 750mL bottle on shop.whistlepigwhiskey.com. A limited edition bundle with the drink and a rye-infused vinyl of Alice Cooper’s “Breadcrumbs” album is also available for purchase, with only 250 sets.
