New Orleans Gears Up for Swifties, Showcases Taylor Swift-Themed Food Experiences

Local businesses are ready to welcome Swifties to New Orleans for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour with exciting food options and themed experiences.

From themed pop-up events and Taylor-inspired menus to special cocktails and merchandise, the city transforms into a Swiftie paradise. Restaurants, bars, and shops across New Orleans join in to create an atmosphere that celebrates Taylor’s music and eras.

Leger told Forbes that New Orleans is not only ‘ready for it,’ but is rolling out the red carpet ahead of Swift’s shows at the 83,000-capacity Caesars Superdome.

Whether you’re a Swiftie or just visiting the city, New Orleans offers many dining options to help you get into the Eras Tour spirit.

Where and what to eat in New Orleans

Taylor Swift-inspired cocktail @ Good Catch

Until the end of October, this restaurant offers a Taylor Swift-inspired cocktail with vodka-infused roses, St. Germain, lemon, and Cava. It pairs well with fresh seafood and classic Thai dishes.

“Shake It Off” brunch party @ New Orleans Social House

The venue will host a “Shake It Off” brunch party from 9 AM to 4 PM, which includes a brunch menu, bottomless mimosas, specialty cocktails, Taylor Swift music, a selfie booth, a glitter bar, and a friendship bracelet statio

Drag and burlesque brunch @ Commons Club

Commons Club will have an Eras-inspired Drag and Burlesque Brunch featuring Taylor-inspired cocktails, delicious eats, and performances. Performances are scheduled for 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, with each day focused on a different Taylor Swift album: Midnights on October 25, Reputation on October 26, and The Tortured Poets Department on October 27.

Specialty cocktail menu & brunch @ Hyatt Centric French Quarter

The event will offer a cocktail menu representing all Eras in honor of the Tour. From Taylor’s self-titled album released in 2006 to The Tortured Poets Department, released this spring, all 11 Eras will be highlighted with drinks like the “Bad Bloody Mary” and “Sweet Nothing,” a twist on the classic French 75 made with McQueen’s Violet Fog Gin.

Dine like Taylor Swift

Fans looking to unleash their inner Swiftie should check out Bywater Bakery, where Taylor Swift enjoyed cake during her trip to New Orleans. Swift also grabbed a bite at N7, a cozy French spot in the Bywater that serves up classics like beef tartare, escargots, and (wait for it) soy sauce crème brûlée. She tried modern Israeli dishes at Saba, as well.

Thousands of Swifties from around the world are coming to New Orleans for Taylor Swift’s much-anticipated Eras Tour. The three-day shows will run starting October 25, and the city is preparing to give fans an experience that they will ‘remember for a lifetime.’
