Smokey, Honey-Roasted Peanuts Recipe

Easy to make smokey, honey roasted peanuts recipe. We mix cayenne pepper and smoked paprika with garlic powder, butter and honey to get the perfect flavor.

1/3 c sugar ½ t cayenne pepper 1 ½ t smoked paprika 1 t garlic powder 2 T butter 2 T honey 1 t salt 1 lb skinless peanuts
Preheat oven to 325 F.
In a medium saucepan stir in, butter, honey, and salt over medium heat. Cook until the butter has melted and is starting to bubble. Stir occasionally.
Add peanuts to the pan and stir to fully coat them.
Pour the peanuts into a rectangular baking dish. Spread them out in the dish so that they aren’t clumped up.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the peanuts are golden brown. Stir the peanuts every 10 minutes.
Scrape the peanuts into a large glass bowl. Sprinkle the peanuts with the remaining seasonings and stir the nuts until they are fully coated.
Allow the peanuts to cool for 30 minutes. Stir them every few minutes as they cool so that they don’t stick together.
