Skillet Creamed Corn

Ingredients
  

  • 24 ounces frozen sweet corn
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 4 ounces cream cheese cut into cubes
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Heat a large skillet with a lid over medium heat.
  • Add the frozen corn and cover the skillet with the lid.
  • Cook the corn over medium heat until hot, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the butter and sugar; stir until the butter is melted.
  • Add the cream cheese, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the lid back onto the skillet and cook the corn over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes until the cream cheese is soft and easily melts into the corn when stirred.
  • Stir until creamy and fully combined and serve hot.
