Ritz Cracker Chicken Recipe

This Ritz cracker chicken recipe is quick and easy to cook. The prep time is 10 minutes and the bake time is 25 minutes. It only requires a few pantry staples for ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c crushed Ritz crackers
  • 1/2 t garlic salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 4 skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1 pinch chili powder
  • 1/3 c butter
  • 1/4 c flour

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375 F
  • Spray a 9 x 13 glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Cut the butter into small cubes. Set aside.
  • Crush the Ritz crackers into small pieces.
  • Crack the eggs in a shallow bowl and beat them until they are mixed.
  • In a shallow bowl mix together the cracker pieces, flour, garlic salt, pepper, chili powder, and flour.
  • Dredge the chicken in the eggs and then the cracker mixture. Be sure to coat the chicken completely.
  • Place the chicken in the baking dish in a single row, don't stack it.
  • Place the pats of butter between the chicken breast.
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 F.
