Preheat oven to 350ºF.

Cover a baking sheet with foil.

Place slices of bread in a single layer on the baking sheet. 

Place the baking sheet on the middle rack of the oven.

Toast the bread in the oven for 5 minutes.

Turn the slices and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until golden brown. 

Use oven mitts to remove the baking sheet from the hot oven.

Serve immediately with the toppings of your choice.
