1. First, lay the pineapple on its side and center it on the board. 2. Cut off the part where the crown and top of pineapple meet. Then cut an inch off the bottom. 3. After that, slice off the pineapple skin and spikes. 4. Once done, use a paring knife to remove those flower cups or eyes. 5. Remove the core by cutting the fruit directly at the center or you can cut it at its width, following its natural round shape. 6. Divide the fruit into small pieces. For the lengthwise cut, slice the pineapple into small rectangular pieces. Split them into chunks if you want round or ring slices.
