Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup 1 stick butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup rainbow jimmies

Instructions

  • Heat-Treat the Flour: Preheat oven to 350°F. Spread the flour evenly on a small baking sheet and bake for 4-5 minutes, or until it reaches 160°F. (Do not let it brown.) Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.
  • Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer on medium speed to cream together the sugar and softened butter until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
  • Add Wet Ingredients: Mix in the milk, vanilla extract, almond extract, and salt until fully combined.
  • Incorporate Dry Ingredients: Add the heat-treated flour and mix just until all ingredients are combined.
  • Fold in Mix-Ins: Gently fold in the white chocolate chips and rainbow jimmies.
  • Serve and Enjoy! This edible cookie dough is best enjoyed immediately but can also be stored for later.
