Ingredients

  • 2 T of grass-fed butter unsalted
  • 2 T of MCT oil or coconut oil
  • 1 t vanilla extract
  • 1 T of heavy whipping cream
  • 2 c of coffee

Instructions

  • To make bulletproof coffee, the first thing you need to do is brew 2 cups of your favorite brand of coffee. Once it’s done brewing, pour it into a large container to avoid spillage when you’re blending it.
  • Add two tablespoons of unsalted grass fed butter, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 2 tablespoons of MCT oil (or coconut oil) to the coffee.
  • If you want your coffee to turn out extra frothy and creamy, you can also add in about a tablespoon of heavy whipping cream.
  • Mix the ingredients together with your immersion blender for about 45 to 60 seconds, or until you start to notice a frothy layer forming on the surface. Move your immersion blender up and down to make sure all the fat has been properly blended into the coffee.
  • Once everything has been mixed together perfectly and the mixture has achieved the right consistency, pour it out into cups and serve.

Notes

If you don’t have an immersion blender at hand, you can always use a blender bottle, but make sure to give it a shake every few minutes so that all the fat is emulsified.
