Walnut Butter

Walnut butter recipe made with roasted walnuts, cinnamon and honey. This recipe creates a wonderful homemade spread.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ c raw walnuts
  • ¼ t cinnamon
  • 1 t honey

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat an oven to 350 degrees.
  • Spread the walnuts on a baking sheet so that they aren’t touching.
  • Bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the walnuts from the oven and allow them to cool.
  • Add the walnuts to a food processor and mix for 60 seconds.
  • Use a spatula and scrape the sides to push chunks back down.
  • Continue to mix until the consistency is smooth, oily and buttery.
  • Add in cinnamon and honey. Mix thoroughly.
  • Scoop the walnut butter into a container with a lid.
  • Enjoy!
