How to Saute Pierogies With Onions

Sauteed pierogies with onions is a quick and easy meal. All that you need are frozen pierogies, butter, and onions.

package of pierogies

small yellow onion

butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Cut the onion in ¼” slices.
Add 2 tablespoons of butter to a large non-stick pan over medium-low heat and saute the onions.
Once onions are sauteed add the remaining butter and pierogies to the pan.
Cook pierogies for about 8 minutes on both sides or until they are golden brown and cooked thoroughly.
Remove onions and pierogies from the pan. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Cook time for pierogies will vary.
