How to Saute Pierogies With Onions

Sauteed pierogies with onions is a quick and easy meal. All that you need are frozen pierogies, butter, and onions.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package of pierogies
  • 1 small yellow onion
  • 4 T butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Cut the onion in ¼” slices.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of butter to a large non-stick pan over medium-low heat and saute the onions.
  • Once onions are sauteed add the remaining butter and pierogies to the pan.
  • Cook pierogies for about 8 minutes on both sides or until they are golden brown and cooked thoroughly.
  • Remove onions and pierogies from the pan. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

Cook time for pierogies will vary.
