How To Make Apple Chips In The Air Fryer

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large apple we used 1 large Granny Smith for this recipe
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Prep your apple by washing and drying it thoroughly. We left the peel on but you can peel it first.
  • Thinly slice (with a mandolin slicer, preferably) your apple and remove the seeds from the slices.
  • Set your air dryer to dehydration mode.
  • Lay the apple slices flat on the air fryer tray, side by side. DO NOT stack them, as this will affect the drying process. Use a stacking tray if needed or dehydrate in rounds.
  • Sprinkle slices with pinch of salt.
  • Set your air fryer to 390⁰F and its timer to 90 minutes.
  • After dehydration, use a pair of tongs to remove the apple chips.
  • Allow the chips to cool to room temperature.
  • Serve and enjoy!
