How To Freeze Cherries (The Easy Way)

This is our easy method for freezing cherries. In this method we don't remove the pits but you can if you would prefer.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 c Fresh Cherries

Instructions
 

  • Place the cherries in a baking tray. Make sure you line them in a single layer.
  • Place the tray in the freezer for one hour.
  • Remove the frozen cherries from the freezer and place them in a freezer baggie.
  • Press all of the air out of the baggie.
  • Place the baggie in the freezer.

Notes

We don't recommend washing the cherries before freezing them. So be sure to wash them when you defrost them.
