How To Freeze Apples

This is a step-by-step tutorial on how to freeze raw apple slices.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 apples
  • 2 T Lemon juice
  • 2 c water

Instructions
 

  • Wash, dry, peel, and core the apples.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice to 2 cups of water. 
  • Cut the apples into slices. Choose whatever thickness you prefer.
  • Allow the apple slices to soak in the lemon water for 5 minutes.
  • Drain the slices from the water and leave them in the colander for five minutes to drip dy.
  • Place drained apple slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Place the baking sheet with apple slices in the freezer for 5 hours.
  • Remove the slices from the freezer and place them in freezer baggies. 
  • Remove as much air from the baggies as possible.
  • Return the bagged apple slices to the freezer immediately.
  • Best if used within six months of freezing.
