Homemade Egg Drop Soup
This Egg Drop Soup is a warm, comforting dish featuring delicate ribbons of egg in a flavorful, seasoned broth.

- 2 large eggs
- 4 c chicken broth
- 1 t black pepper
- ½ t crushed red pepper flakes
- ¼ t salt
- 1 green onion sliced
Whisk 2 eggs with ¼ t black pepper in a small bowl.
In a large pot over high heat, combine chicken broth, crushed red pepper flakes, remaining black pepper, and salt. Bring to a boil.
Once boiling, slowly pour the beaten eggs into the pot while gently stirring the broth in circles to create thin ribbons.
When the soup returns to a boil, remove from heat.
Pour into bowls and garnish with green onion. Serve immediately.
