Ingredients

Puppy Chow

  • 2 c Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 Stick ½ c Butter
  • 2 t Vanilla
  • 1 c Peanut Butter
  • 8 c Chex Cereal
  • 1 ½ c Confectioners Sugar Powdered Sugar

Mix-ins

  • 1 c Candy Corn
  • 1 c Reese’s Pieces
  • ½ c Mellocreme Pumpkins
  • ¼ c Candy Eyeballs

Instructions

  • Combine mix-ins in a medium bowl and set aside.
  • Place a large saucepan over medium-low heat.
  • Add to saucepan butter, peanut butter, vanilla, and chocolate chips together and stir until smooth.
  • Once melted and fully combined, pour into a large bowl.
  • Add cereal and stir gently until cereal is fully coated.
  • Allow the cereal mixture to cool.
  • Divide the powdered sugar and add ¾ c to each of the two large zipper bags.
  • Divide the chocolate-coated cereal into roughly half and add each half into the two bags that contain the powdered sugar.
  • Make sure to seal the bag tightly, so the contents don’t come flying out while shaking the bags and shake to coat.
  • Add half of the mix-ins to each zipper bag. Shake gently. These will not coat with the sugar, so you’re just combining.
  • Pour the Puppy Chow mixture into a large serving bowl and enjoy!
  • Refrigerate leftovers and gently shake the bag to separate when ready to serve.

Notes

Refrigerate any leftovers. Don't feed this or any other chocolate to your pets.
