Garlic green beans

This is an easy to make side dish of garlic green beans. We steam the green beans and then add in the herbs.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb fresh green beans
  • 3 T butter
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Steam green beans until they are tender
  • Juice the lemon and set juice aside
  • Mince the garlic and set aside
  • When the beans are done, remove from the pan and set aside.
  • In a large skillet saute garlic with butter for 1 minute. 
  • Add in juice of one lemon, dash of salt and pepper and stir.
  • Add in green beans, stir and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce reduces by half.
