Servings 1 charcuterie board (serves 6-8)

Ingredients

  • 4 0 z. circle of brie cheese
  • 2 oz. salami
  • 4 slices of thinly sliced ham
  • 1 cup pretzels
  • 12 pretzel sticks
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate wafers
  • 6-8 cherry tomatoes
  • 3/4 cup light grapes
  • 3/4 cup dark grapes
  • 2 tbsp. kiwi jam
  • 12 mini mozzarella balls
  • 1 baby bell cheese round
  • 2 slices white cheese

Instructions

  • For the garland, roll the salami slices in quarters and stack them in pairs with open sides.
  • For the roses, cut the salami in half, overlap and roll up. The larger the salami, the larger the rose.
  • Next, we will make the Christmas tree out of brie.
  • First, cut off the top and bottom of the brie to create two flat edges.
  • Using a cookie cutter, cut out a Christmas tree from the center of the brie. Put the crust back in place to create a bottom.
  • Spoon the jam into the resulting container.
  • Cut off two sections to make a triangular shape. Cut the remainder into cubes.
  • Next, use your snowflake mold to imprint a snowflake on the baby bell.
  • Use your snowflake cookie cutter to cut snowflakes from the white cheese slices.
  • Now it is time to start building out the board. Place brie cheese and jam on top. Place roses of salami on the right and left, with some cherry tomatoes and cubes of brie cheese on the left. At the bottom center, place pretzel sticks in place of a Christmas tree trunk. Above the pretzel sticks, place a baby bell with a snowflake print. Around the edges, place a ham folded in half mirrored. Arrange a garland of salami on the diagonal.
  • Arrange the dark grapes on top of the garland and the mini mozzarella on the bottom. Place the pretzels between the garland strip and the grapes. Fill the free areas with light grapes, chocolate, and tomatoes to get a pyramidal composition. Add decorations - cheese snowflakes laid out chaotically and some coarse salt instead of snow.

Notes

  • You will need a Christmas Tree and snowflake cookie cutter such as these https://amzn.to/409SFUu. You will also need a snowflake cookie mold like this one.
  • Feel free to customize this board with your favorite fruits, cheeses, or cured meats.
  • If you don’t have kiwi jam, you can substitute it with a jam of your choice such as fig, apricot, or cranberry.
  • Add decorative elements like a festive bow or pinecones to enhance the presentation of the board.
