Cake Mix Snickerdoodle Recipe

Equipment

  • Le Creuset Non-Stick Bakeware
  • 3-Tier Collapsible Cooling Rack
  • Le Creuset Spatula

Ingredients
  

  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 2 T sugar
  • 1 t ground cinnamon
  • 1 stick of butter melted
  • 1 egg
  • 2 t vanilla extract
  • Optional: Additional ½ t of cinnamon for the batter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Mix together the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, mix together the cake mix, butter, egg and vanilla. (If you like lots of cinnamon flavor, you can add a ½ t more to the batter here also.)
  • Spoon the dough into 1" balls
  • Roll the balls in the sugar mixture.
  • Place the balls on the baking sheet.
  • Bake for 12 minutes or until they are done.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on a baking rack.
  • Store in an airtight container.
