How to cook the Texas Roadhouse seasoned rice
This copycat recipe is for the Texas Roadhouse seasoned rice.
- Mince the onion and parsley. Set aside separately (Don’t combine).
- Using a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir often to keep it from burning.
- When the butter is melted, add in the rice. Cook for about 6 minutes while stirring often. Note that it should be browned evenly.
- Add in ¼ cup of the minced onions. You may add more or less, depending on your taste.
- Cook for 3 minutes while stirring often.
- Add in all of the remaining ingredients then bring them to a boil.
- Boil for 5 minutes. Stir occasionally.
- Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes until the rice is tender.

Here, you will need:
- Using a big pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add in the rice and stir it often until it becomes golden brown. This may take around 5 to 6 minutes.
- Mix the garlic powder, paprika, diced onions, pepper, and salt. Cook and stir.
- Add tamari and chicken broth; again, stir well.
